About RV Dump Guide
RV Dump Guide is a small, independent directory of RV dump stations, potable water, propane and overnight stops in the Southwest, starting with Arizona. Today it covers 22 places across 3 regional guides (Quartzsite: dump, water & LTVA, Phoenix-area dump stations, Tucson-area dump stations), a statewide comparison table and a map. It is written and maintained by the RV Dump Guide Team.
How we verify
- We only list a service when an official source (BLM, Arizona State Parks, county parks, ADOT, a sanitary district, or the business's own location page) says it exists.
- We never guess prices or hours. If the operator doesn't publish a fee, we say so and give you the phone number to ask.
- Every page shows a last-checked date and links its sources, and every listing names the page its facts came from.
- Pins marked "approximate" show the park or the address point, not the exact dump.
- When a source and a popular app disagree, we go with the source and say so on the page.
What the access labels mean
Who is allowed to dump matters more than where the dump is. Each listing carries one label: open to the public, public with a fee for non-campers or non-residents, LTVA permit holders only, registered campers only, or no RV dump listed. We keep "no dump" places on the map when older directories still show a dump there, so you don't detour for nothing.
What we don't do
We don't take paid placements, and there are no affiliate links on the site today. We don't copy listings from other directories or user-submitted apps; those are leads we check, not sources we publish. We don't run ads or analytics trackers.
Why
Some popular dump-station directories put part of their data behind a paid tier, and others still show listings that haven't been updated in years. We'd rather list fewer places and get each one right.
Corrections are always welcome: send us a correction with the place, what changed and when you saw it.
