Phoenix-area RV dump stations

We verified four Phoenix RV dump stations that are open to the public. Two are truck stops on I-10 west: Flying J #611 (Exit 137) and Love's #659 in Tolleson (Exit 135). The other two are Bell Road RV Center in north Phoenix and the Fountain Hills Sanitary District, which charges non-residents $6.00.

Verify before you go. Dump stations close for repairs, and fees and rules change. Everything here comes from the linked official sources, last checked . See a change? Tell us.

The Maricopa County regional parks and Lost Dutchman State Park have dump stations, but they're for registered campers. Arizona's ADOT rest areas have no RV dump stations at all.

Open to the public: truck stops on I-10 west

Flying J #611 on W Latham St and Love's #659 on Roosevelt St are about two exits apart on I-10, west of downtown. Both chains list an RV dump at these stores, and both sell propane. Neither posts a dump fee online, so pay or ask inside first.

Out west, Love's #280 in Buckeye (Exit 114) lists propane but no RV dump. Some older directories still show one there.

Heading west on I-10? Neither truck stop at Quartzsite's Exit 17 listed an RV dump when we checked, and the Quartzsite dump and water guide covers where BLM does provide one. Going south, the Tucson-area dump stations include Pilot #593 and Catalina State Park.

Open to the public: north Phoenix and Fountain Hills

Bell Road RV Center at 2727 E Bell Rd runs a dump station that its page says serves residents and travelers just passing through. It posts hours (Mon to Fri 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Sat 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, closed Sunday) but no fee, so call (602) 971-2450 before you go.

The Fountain Hills Sanitary District runs a dump next to its office at 16941 E Pepperwood Circle. It's free for Fountain Hills residents, $6.00 for non-residents and $30.00 for commercial entities. Hours are Mon to Thu 7:00 am to 3:00 pm and Fri 7:00 am to noon, excluding holidays.

Maricopa County regional parks: campers only

The county's developed campgrounds have water and electric hookups and dump station access. They're at Cave Creek, Lake Pleasant, McDowell Mountain, Usery Mountain and White Tank Mountain. The county says the dump station is a free service for registered campers. Its FAQ adds that non-campers can't use it unless they pay the developed-site camping fee, which is not encouraged. That fee is $40/night in 2026, rising to $50 on Jan 1, 2027 and $60 on Jan 1, 2028.

Estrella Mountain has semi-developed camping only, with no hookups and no dump access listed.

State park: Lost Dutchman (campers only)

Arizona State Parks says Lost Dutchman's dump station is free for registered campers and not open to the public.

Myth: "just use a rest area"

ADOT says plainly that Arizona's rest areas do not have RV dump stations. Some trucker apps still show dumps at I-10 rest areas, but don't plan around those listings.

Questions RVers ask

Where can I dump my RV in Phoenix if I am not camping?

We verified four public options. On I-10 west, Flying J #611 (Exit 137) and Love's #659 in Tolleson (Exit 135) list RV dumps but post no fee online, so ask inside first. In north Phoenix, Bell Road RV Center has a dump open six days a week; call for the fee. In Fountain Hills, the sanitary district charges non-residents $6.00.

Can non-campers use the Maricopa County regional park dump stations?

Not as a drive-up service. The county says its dump stations are a free service for registered campers at Cave Creek, Lake Pleasant, McDowell Mountain, Usery Mountain and White Tank Mountain. Its FAQ says non-campers would have to pay the developed-site camping fee, $40 a night in 2026, and that doing so is not encouraged.

How much does it cost to dump in Fountain Hills?

The Fountain Hills Sanitary District posts its fees: no charge for Fountain Hills residents, $6.00 for non-residents and $30.00 for commercial entities. The dump is next to the district office at 16941 E Pepperwood Circle and is open Monday to Thursday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm and Friday 7:00 am to noon, except holidays.

Do Arizona rest areas have RV dump stations?

No. ADOT's rest area page says Arizona's rest areas do not have RV dump stations. Some trucker apps still show dumps at I-10 rest areas, so don't plan a stop around those listings. Use one of the truck stops or the other public dumps on this page instead, and check the operator's page before you go.
